Virtual Accredited Safer Recruitment Training Delivered Remotely Using Zoom (Certificated)

The virtual live training will be hosted by Kerry Dawson, Specialist Safeguarding Trainer and Consultant.  Whilst it's not quite the same as face to face training, the course will be interactive, with plenty of opportunities for delegates to share good practice and ask any questions. The course will be delivered over two sessions (3 hours per session) and delegates will receive a Safer Recruitment certificate on completion.

Course Outline: This one day course accredited by the Safer Recruitment Consortium, gives those recruiting in an education setting, the information and knowledge of how to recruit safely and comply with the statutory guidance. This course will focus on safer recruitment and the wider context of safeguarding; Prevalence of abuse and profile of abusers; Features of and how to plan a safer recruitment process; Making the right decisions; Setting acceptable standards of behaviour and maintaining an ongoing culture of vigilance.
