Course Outline

This one day course is aimed at anyone who is in a leadership position who wants to develop their supervision skills to support their wider team. Delegates will explore models of supervision that promote safe practice and consider the importance of creating a safe space to:

  • Strengthen effective safeguarding practice that is child-centred, and outcome focused.
  • Support reflective practice that promotes personal and professional development. 
  • Manage the emotional impact of safeguarding practice, including, child protection work, with children and families.
  • Manage risk using the signs of safety model.
  • Who should attend? Head Teachers, Designated Safeguarding Leads, senior leaders, and line managers.

 

Optional extra! Annual Safeguarding Supervision Package

Access to six peer group supervision sessions across the year (can be purchased at any point and will roll for one year from the first booked session)
